Offset Hospitalized After Shooting Outside Florida Casino
Offset, the former Migos rapper, has been hospitalized following a shooting outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The incident occurred on Monday evening, April 6, in the valet area, as reported by the Seminole Police Department.
Offset sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is currently in stable condition. A spokesperson confirmed, "We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored."
Authorities have detained two individuals in connection with the shooting, although their identities have not yet been disclosed. The investigation remains ongoing.
In a show of support, Offset's former groupmate Quavo shared a praying hands emoji on his Instagram Stories shortly after news of the shooting emerged.
Meanwhile, rumors have circulated regarding Lil Tjay's involvement in the incident, stemming from a feud between him and Offset over an alleged gambling debt. However, Tjay's lawyer, Dawn M. Florio, refuted these claims, stating, "Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false."
In the past, Lil Tjay made headlines for claiming Offset was "broke" and had a gambling addiction, which escalated tensions between the two artists. The situation continues to unfold as fans and the public await further updates.
