Megan Thee Stallion Recovers After Health Scare, Ready to Return to Broadway
Megan Thee Stallion has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering after experiencing a health scare during a performance of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. In an update shared with her fans, the Houston rapper revealed that she had succumbed to exhaustion and will return to the stage on Thursday, April 2.
In her Instagram message, she expressed her concerns: “Last night was a real wake-up call for me. I’ve been pushing myself past my limits lately, running on empty, and my body finally said enough. It honestly scared me. I thought I was gonna faint on stage, I really tried to push through my performance but I just couldn’t.”
Megan reassured her fans, known as “Hotties,” stating, “I just need one day to rest, reset, and take care of myself the way I should have been. I’ll be right back on that stage Thursday, stronger, clearer, and ready to give you 100% the way you deserve. Thank you for always riding with me and loving me through everything.”
The incident occurred on March 31, when Megan fell ill during the Broadway show and was rushed to the hospital after having difficulty breathing. The production was temporarily halted as she was removed for medical attention.
Despite this setback, Megan has been thriving in her career, recently opening her first Popeyes franchise in Miami and being unveiled as the face of True Religion’s Spring 2026 campaign. She also secured a guest-starring role in the upcoming NBC sitcom The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, featuring Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe.
