Maino Takes Aim at 50 Cent in New Diss Track 'Bleed Like Us'
In a fresh wave of hip-hop rivalry, Maino has released a diss track titled 'Bleed Like Us', aimed squarely at 50 Cent. This new track emerges amidst 50's ongoing feud with T.I. and serves as a response to 50’s recent song 'No More Tricks, No More Tries', featuring Max B.
Taking inspiration from the iconic Biggie track 'N*ggas Bleed', Maino critiques 50 Cent over past allegations of domestic violence and challenges his claims of surviving nine gunshot wounds. He questions 50's authenticity, rapping:
“Be careful when you come at me, n*gga, you couldn’t humble me / Why the ones you beef with end up in fed custody?”
Maino also creatively twists 50's well-known tracks into sharp jabs, emphasizing his view that 50 Cent's persona is a facade crafted for commercial appeal. He concludes the track with a stark warning:
“Getting rich wasn’t enough, still want to die?”
Initially, many fans interpreted 'No More Tricks, No More Tries' as a diss towards T.I., but the accompanying video clarifies that 50 is directing his ire at Maino, Jim Jones, and Fabolous, who co-host the Let’s Rap About It podcast alongside Dave East. In the video, 50 mocks Maino’s facial scar from a past prison incident, reinforcing the personal nature of their feud.
The tension between 50 Cent and this trio has been escalating since late last year when 50 criticized a documentary about Diddy, which prompted Jim Jones to defend the subject. Following this, 50 retaliated through social media, alleging that the trio owes significant rent for their podcast recording space, labeling them as “squatters.”
As the feud continues to heat up, fans eagerly await the next chapter in this ongoing hip-hop saga.
