JAY-Z to Perform Special Anniversary Shows at Yankee Stadium

March 19, 2026

JAY-Z is set to return to the stage this summer with a two-night concert at New York City’s Yankee Stadium, celebrating the anniversaries of his iconic albums. On July 10, he will honor the 30th anniversary of his classic 1996 debut album, Reasonable Doubt, followed by a tribute to his 2001 masterpiece, The Blueprint, on July 11.

While it remains uncertain whether JAY-Z will have special guests joining him, the extensive roster of contributors to both albums—including Eminem, Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, and Foxy Brown—hints at potential surprises. This concert marks JAY-Z's first full-length performance in three years, following an intimate tribute set to Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat in Paris.

Ticket information is expected to be announced soon. This concert announcement comes on the heels of JAY-Z being named the headliner for the 2026 Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia, scheduled for May 30. This appearance, alongside The Roots, marks a significant reunion 25 years after their legendary MTV Unplugged performance.

Additionally, JAY-Z recently sparked excitement among fans with the release of the original version of “Dead Presidents” on vinyl and streaming platforms, celebrating the song’s 30th anniversary. He has also reverted to his original stage name, JAŸ-Z, and launched the website JAYZ30.com, suggesting more anniversary celebrations may be forthcoming.

Speculation is growing regarding a potential new album release this year. Longtime friend Memphis Bleek hinted at new music during a recent appearance on Drink Champs, while fellow New Yorker Cash Cobain teased that JAY-Z is preparing to release something that will make a significant impact.
